National+Forest+-+Salt+Springs .
Attached are two photos of the swimming area. We will need to watch for
bears and alligators, along with the usual raccoons, possums and alike.
There are bike trails, hiking trails, 4 wheeler area (have to register and pay
a fee), and swimming at the National Forest. We will have running water
and showers., but NO electric at the tent
sites.
Please try to let us know if you will be attending & if you will be staying
in a tent or need a RV site so we can be sure we have enough sites
reserved. It will fill up fast as this is a popular place. It would
be nice to know how many are in your group.
Some attractions that are within 1hr drive are:
Kennedy Space Center
Orlando: Disney World
Universal
Studios Islands of Adventure
Sea World
Silver Springs
Wet & Wild Water
Park
St Augustine (with
beaches on the east coast)
Alligator Farm
ICHNETUCKNEE
Springs State Park (slow floating down the river)
There are many other things to do and see.
I know I do not have everyone's email address. Please forward as needed
and any additional email address back to us would be appreciated.
I know missing are: Nick, Shawn, Lorri, April, Tonya, Donny &
Rosemary.
Thank you!!!! Look forward to seeing as many as possible.
